What We Believe

In everything that Life Church does, it is our goal to glorify God! Through all of our ministries and in our campus facilities, we strive to display excellence in all things. Purposeful care is taken to ensure that excellence is maintained for the glory of our God.

We look most like Christ when we're serving and giving. Christ's life was marked as a servant. He modeled that the more powerful you are, the more you are to leverage your influence for the good of those who serve you. Christ never denied his power, only His privilege. We believe it is the responsibility of every member of Life Church to live a life fully engaged in the life of the church. We ask and expect members to faithfully volunteer in multiple areas of church ministry. We challenge every member to participate in a local, national or international mission work. We believe that every member has a financial responsibility to support the work of Christ. By participating in each of these areas of service, a member will experience the fulfillment of the great commission and recognize their part to play within the body of Christ.

Under the direct commission of Jesus Christ, Life Church exists to reach those in our neighborhoods and around the world who have not yet come to faith in Jesus Christ. Our church ministries all point toward sharing the message of the Gospel with individuals and families. In every service, a public invitation is given to allow people to respond to this clear message of hope and eternal promise. We strive to provide multiple opportunities to invite unbelieving friends and family members to hear the Gospel. We encourage every member of the church to share their faith daily in work, schools and social settings not just with words, but in the way they live and conduct themselves.

One of the great passions of this church family is to intentionally share in the process of healing, Christian growth and development of individuals and families. Life Church offers many outlets for discipleship—personally and corporately—through training, mentoring and our Lifegroup Small Group Ministry. Classes are offered on weekends and throughout the week to strengthen the faith of those who believe, and to encourage those who are on a journey toward healing and a growing relationship in their faith. We also believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Pentecostal experience was given with a purpose-to reach people. We value the Pentecostal move of the Holy Spirit as an equipping source of power and strength to change the lives of those in our community. (Acts 1:8 & Acts 4:13)

Life Church is committed to using new and innovative strategies to reach people for Christ. Through our weekend worship experience and our Lifegroup Small Group Ministry we know our time is short and therefore we want to make a powerful impact on our community and surrounding area effectively and with a sense of urgency. We believe in the growth of our congregation as we expand our local influence. We believe the youth and children are the lifeblood of the church. We want to raise the next generation to continue the ministry of Life Church.

Beyond growth in faith, we believe in the whole development of every individual, and strive to be an encouraging and comforting body of believers. Life Church exists for people … those here and those yet to come. As we develop our people in Christian living, we desire to see individuals and families strengthened by the love shared among the people of this church. People matter most to God, therefore, people matter most to us. Beyond programs and sermons, we are people-oriented. Decisions concerning ministry development, business plans, and others will begin and end with people in mind. The most significant change in the disciples' lives occurred during the three years they spent in close community with each other. Centered on Christ, their relationships were sealed in service to His kingdom.
